Mobotix - Digital recording
network camera
The MOBOTIX Concept makes the difference
 |
| M1D-IT Outdoor Version IP65 |
The MOBOTIX camera has a unique new design and features a variety
of innovations without the need to install any software application:
It is also unique in its unmatched high-resolution image quality
(640 x 480) with minimal network load (1 Mbps) at high frame rates.
As opposed to most competing products, MOBOTIX cameras do not display
motion artifacts in high-resolution images and direct artificial
or sun light do not result in lower image quality. Compare the results
to those of our competitors, but make sure that you are comparing
high-resolution images (640 x 480) when you are comparing image
quality and network load!
The weatherproof (IP65) MOBOTIX M1M digital camera transmits live
video in large format (640x480) at minimal network load, saves several
hundred images in the camera itself and automatically updates images
on web sites or sends emails. Actions can be triggered time or event-controlled.
The camera features an integrated computer and web server; Ethernet
and ISDN ports are already integrated.

No software installation is required. Video images are loaded and
camera parameters are set using a standard web browser (e.g. Explorer).
Provided the camera is physically connected to it, it can be accessed
through the Internet.
Due to its low power consumption (approx. 2 W), power can be supplied
directly through the ISDN line (Europe, Japan, China, but not US)
or through the network cable. It does not require a 230V power outlet
on-site. Moreover, using the centralized power supply provides for
easy emergency power by a UPS.
The MOBOTIX camera's integrated software-based image enhancement
facility runs a white balance, contrast adjustment and a digital
sharpness filter on every image, thus producing brilliant color
images. Exposure control using the freely configurable exposure
zones provides for efficient control of backlight sceneries.
