AVTelco VideoJet
400
Multimedia over IP
The
video server VideoJet 400 is the only device on the market which
simultaneously supports two transmitting standards: H.323 for compatibility
with all videoconferencing systems and M-JPEG/HTML for easy operation
via internet browser. Efficient coding enables high transmission
quality with a low data rate.
This four-channel video server uses existing data networks for
the live video, audio and data transmission and can be integrated
into either local are networks (LAN) or Wide Area Networks (internet,
ISDN, analogue telephone systems) as easily as the single channel
VideoJet.
VideoJet 400 links up to four different video sources with the
data network. The signal can be received and decoded on any PC using
a web browser or one of VCS’s PROVI range of software decoders.
Alternatively, a VideoJet receiver may be used to decode the signal
and the video pictures displayed on a monitor.
The VideoJet system is ideally suited for video monitoring. An
integral video sensor automatically establishes a connection with
the receiver and raises the alarm. The internal video ring-buffer
records events immediately prior to the alarm and an optional hard
disk version is available for local long-term recording.
The VideoJet 400 also supports remote operation of external devices.
Camera control data are transmitted via the two-way serial interface
with two-way audio transmission optional.
