AVTelco VideoJet
The video server for high quality, live video transmission

A compact video server, VideoJet is the only system in the market which uses existing communication networks for live video, audio and data transmission. It can be easily integrated into both local area networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks Iinternet, ISDN,analogue telephone systems).

Employed as a transmitter, VideoJet connects any video source with the data network. The signal can be received and decoded by a VideoJet receiver and displayed on an associated monitor, or alternatively, signals can be decoded by one of AVTelco’s PROVI range of software decoders and reproduced on any PC using a web browser or video conferencing system.

The VideoJet is ideally suited for video surveillance. An integral video sensor automatically establishes a connection between the transmitter and receiver and raises the alarm, while the internal video ring-buffer records events immediately prior to the alarm.

The system also supports remote operation of external devices. Camera control data are transmitted via the serial interface with two way audio transmission available as an option.

The VideoJet can be supplied with an X.21 interface or alternatively with G 703 interfaces which enable the transmission of live video pictures at data rate of up to 2Mb/s.
