AVTelco VICO ISDN
The compact video alarm system for up to 6 cameras

VICO is a complete and compact unit for remote video monitoring and local long-term recording. VICO incorporates all the essential functions of a security system.

• Automatic alarm transmission to up to 50 individual telephone numbers defined according to priority and alarm type.
• Alarm verification from real time pictures and recording of the pre-alarm events in an integral video ring-buffer.
• Immediate intervention through controlling various security and camera functions or by switching to other cameras.
• Operation of external devices such as door openers, light switches etc. as well as camera positioning.

VICO is useful anywhere where taking a quick look speeds up decisions, saves money and offers other additional advantages:

• operational management and remote maintenance in industry;
• surveillance and management in the retail sector;
• providing information in the leisure sector e.g. tourism.

Vico can provide increased security and cost savings in the private sector too.

The VICO system’s beautifully designed wall-mounted case is installed in the property to be monitored and data is transmitted via the ISDN telephone network. As an alternative or back-up solution, an external modem can be used to transmit data via an analogue network or via the mobile GSM network.

The camera picture is displayed on a PC using PROVILite the AVTelco software decoder supplied. In addition pictures can also be viewed using the AVTelco PROVILook or PROVI software or a videophone.

The VICO system is available in the basic version as described above, and optionally with additional audio transmission, or with a hard disk for long-term recording, or both.
