Switchers and Matrices
INLINE
makes switchers for a variety of audiovisual routing purposes. Specialized
switchers are available in sizes ranging from 2 to 16 inputs to
handle composite video, S-Video, Component Video, RGB, RGBS, RGBHV
and stereo audio signals.
Manual Switchers - feature front panel buttons for input
selection. The user can select the desired input by pressing a front
panel button. Many switcher models can be remotely controlled using
contact closures or RS-232 serial commands.
Automatic Switchers - sense the presence of a video sync
signal and automatically switch to that input. Auto switchers are
ideal for unattended automatic operation in installations with multiple
wall plates. The user simply comes into the room and connects a
computer, VCR or other source to the nearest A/V connector plate
or wall mounted interface. The auto switcher senses the video signal
and automatically routes it to the display device. Several INLINE
switchers feature the ability to operate in Manual or Auto switching
mode.
Matrix Switchers - feature multiple inputs and multiple
outputs, offering flexible routing of video and audio signals for
complex installations. Any input can be routed to any or all outputs.
Switching operations can be triggered using front panel buttons
or remotely via RS-232 serial commands. Common input / output patching
configurations can be stored and executed simultaneously.
Presentation Switchers are a special category of INLINE
matrix switchers that combine the power of matrix switchers with
the easy operation of a manual switcher. Presentation switchers
have the capability to store and transmit serial commands to control
projectors, audiovisual devices or other INLINE products.
Reconfigurable Matrix Switchers provide the same signal
routing capabilities as traditional matrix switchers but feature
remakable input / output flexibility obtained throught the use of
I/O ports that can be set as either inputs or outputs. The PATHFINDER
HR Series reconfigurable matrices can operate in any of the following
input / output configurations: 14x2 / 13x3 / 12x4 / 11x5 / 10x6
/ 9x7 / 8x8 / 7x9 / 6x10 / 5x11 / 4x12. They are the only matrix
switchers available that give users the power to change input /
output capability without making any hardware changes.
